Ginny Sweeney
Ginny Sweeney is a former educator and successful corporate sales executive with over 23+ years experience in selling document management, outsourcing business services for Xerox Corporation, and internet software, design and development of e-business solutions for IBM. She is most known as a creative dealmaker, and for developing new accounts, turning around under performing operations, building relationships and developing strategic and tactical sales. Her competitive, driven, results focused attitude has resulted in an outstanding record of achievement in complex accounts and contract negotiations.
Ms. Sweeney has received numerous awards throughout her career including Teacher of the Year, #1 National Sales Representative of the Year, Employee of the Year, Top Producer with repeated #1 rankings both regionally and nationally, President Club, and successful achievements at a variety of different endeavors. In addition, Ms. Sweeney is a Kauffman Fast Trac graduate and was selected to participate in the Entrepreneurs’ Boardroom, Kauffman’s strategic leadership program.
She is the founder and President of Motivational Rewards, which is Lenexa based firm that designs incentive programs and solutions founded on behavioral research to improve employee productivity for sustainable, long-term results. She has worked with various clients including UPS, Harrah’s Casinos, SAP, the Air Force, and many others. Motivational Rewards is also in the process of developing programs to incent type 1 diabetic teens to monitor and control their blood sugars and another program to incent mentally challenged children to work to improve themselves everyday.
Ms. Sweeney graduated from the University of Missouri–Kansas City with a degree in Education and attended Texas Women’s University and Richland College for coursework towards her Masters in Education. She also attended University of Missouri-Kansas City law school.
Ms. Sweeney lives and works in the Kansas City area with her husband Jim. They are the parents of two children. She is an energetic volunteer with the Holy Trinity Elementary School and participates in several nonprofit organizations.
